I feel like it’s time to reevaluate where I am in life and where I’m going. These past few months have been kinda crazy. I’ve learned how important friendships and relationships are in life. Really, it’s what we were created for. If there were no relationships in life, there would be no purpose. It’s very easy to forget that that’s why we’re here.
We all have struggles, weaknesses, strengths, trials, and victories. I’ve come to see that no one really has it all together. You hang out with someone long enough and you’ll see that they are just like you – in the sense that they have hard things to deal with in life, ups and downs.
I’m usually pretty good at seeing ahead of me, seeing where I’m going in my season of life and what I’ll be learning and encountering on the way. This season is very different. I am not really sure what I’m supposed to be learning and where I’m going. All I know is that having relationships with people is super important. Sometimes we just need to allow ourselves to be encouraged and loved by other people. Sometimes it’s okay to be the one that needs help and doesn’t have it all together.
It’s funny how you can tell someone advice, and then it takes someone else telling you that same advice to help you. Seems like it happens quite often. I think it’s God’s way of showing us that we need each other.
So love and be loved. Encourage people and allow yourself to be encouraged. Stop trying to hold the world on your shoulders. Cause it’s estimated to be about 12,958,069,340,000,000,000,000 pounds.
