I’m Friends With Someone Famous!

Wow. Prayer really works. I knew that before, but I just get reminded at new depth. It’s just such an exciting thing when you pray for something specific and it happens. There’s times when I totally am hoping and believing that it will and still am surprised when it happens.

You can pray about anything. It’s crazy awesome.

Today, I realized that the answer actually coming isn’t even the best part. It’s amazing, but its not my favorite part. I just felt like I got a new understanding of what happens when I pray. I think in the back of my mind I saw it as just asking for something and then it just happening out of nowhere. I mean, I was totally having a conversation with God, a real person, but didn’t think much about it… until today.

God’s hand has to be a part if the answer. He’s the one making these things happen when we ask Him for things. This is the part that’s my favorite. He is so involved in this process. He has to move things around and command things to happen. It’s not just a passive thing that happens because we say these magic words. I have the attention of the creator of the universe. He literally hears me and then moves things around in my favor.

I think it’s my favorite part because it shows me how much He cares about me. It’s that simple. I’m someone who believes in simplicity in life. It’s all about relationships. If you took relationships out of life, you would have nothing. There’d be no point. Prayer is mostly about spending time with someone you care about. It just so happens to be the coolest, most powerful and awesome person throughout all of time!

P.S. If you have any prayer requests I would love to ask my friend to pull some strings for you. He really likes me a lot… I can put in a good word for you
