Back To Simplicity

One of my goals this year is bring simplicity back into my life.

“‘Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?’ And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.'” Matt. 22:36-40

This is my how I want to intentionally live this year. Do the little things well. When no one else is looking. Because it moves God’s heart every time I make a choice to love him. Every time I serve when no one else sees. Every time I turn from sin when no one else is there. Every time I sing to him. Every time I sit down and talk to him, even when I don’t feel like it.

If I do these two things Jesus talks about, then I am successful. I want to believe that.
